Our standard
How we choose ingredients
Most supplement shelves are built on marketing. Ours is built on PubMed. Here is the exact standard every ingredient must meet before it can appear in a Science Proof Precision Pack.
Human clinical evidence first
An ingredient only earns a place in our catalog if it has been studied in randomized, placebo-controlled human trials — not just in petri dishes, rodents, or testimonials. We read the actual papers, not the press releases.
Dosed to the research
If a trial showed results at 1,000 mg, we don't sell 100 mg and call it “clinically studied.” Every ingredient is included at the dose and in the form used in the human research behind it.
Verified purity, every batch
Products are manufactured in cGMP and UL-certified facilities and verified by ISO-17025 accredited third-party laboratories. What's on the label is what's in the capsule — nothing more.
Clean label, no exceptions
No proprietary blends that hide doses. No artificial colors, unnecessary fillers, or common allergens where an alternative exists. If we wouldn't take it ourselves, we don't sell it.
The review process
- 1
We start with the question, not the product
Each ingredient review begins with a health goal — sleep, energy, gut health, hair, hormones — and a systematic look at what the published human evidence actually supports.
- 2
We grade the evidence
Meta-analyses and replicated randomized controlled trials carry the most weight. Single small studies and early-stage research are labeled as such. Ingredients with only animal or in-vitro data don't make the cut.
- 3
We check the form and the dose
Magnesium oxide and magnesium glycinate are not the same thing. We match the specific form and dose used in the successful trials, and we reject under-dosed “label decoration.”
- 4
We verify what's in the bottle
Before an ingredient is listed, its manufacturing and testing documentation is reviewed — cGMP certification, third-party assay results, and allergen status.
- 5
We re-review, continuously
Science moves. When new high-quality evidence changes the picture — in either direction — the catalog changes with it.
Check our work
You should never have to take our word for it. These are the same independent sources we use when reviewing an ingredient:
- PubMed — the U.S. National Library of Medicine's index of peer-reviewed biomedical research
- Cochrane Library — independent systematic reviews of health interventions
- NIH Office of Dietary Supplements — fact sheets on vitamins, minerals and botanicals
- Examine — independent, citation-driven analysis of supplement research
